Vera is a storyteller across formats with a preference for screenwriting. Driven by a life-long love of epic adventure stories and films, her writing focuses on action/

adventure with underlying environmental and political issues, with the occasional futuristic or supernatural element.

 

She can draw on her training as a lawyer and in environmental management, her proficiency in several languages and her theatre work.

 

In 2015, Vera won an award at the “British Screenwriters Awards” and in 2019 ventured into filmmaking with her own first short “Blue Widow”.
