Routes to Riches

In 1426, a poor young Venetian comes into possession of a Chinese map opening the sea route to India – but his dreams of riches turn into a race to survive when an unscrupulous merchant learns of the map and will stop at nothing to get it.

 

Based on historical fact: in the early 15th century the Chinese, on the brink of conquering the world with their far superior ships and nautical knowledge, sent a delegation to Italy. Routes to Riches spins a “what if” yarn where Renaissance swashbuckling meets Chinese martial arts – 1492 meets House of Flying Daggers!
