In the near future, a brilliant young scientist sets out under the guise of a high-class courtesan to avenge the death of her children.

 

The Y-Syndrome is a classic revenge story in the vein of The Count of Monte Christo, set at the turn of the 22nd century in a dystopian world where women have become rare as a consequence of biotechnology gone wrong. The film’s heroine is driven by a burning desire to avenge the death of her children, not knowing that in doing so she risks losing the one shot at happiness she still has.
